All Hallows is a prime time to have readings and do physic work. An old tradition to find your true love is to peel an apple in one long peel. Then drop the peel and it will form the first letter of your true loves' first name. You get only one try at peeling the apple, if the peel breaks, throw the peel over your left shoulder to prevent bad luck and try again next year.
Crossroads have long been a magical place. On Halloween go to a crossroads a few minutes before midnight and ask for a divination. The first words you hear after midnight will become your oracle for the next year. The words can come from a person, a radio in a passing car or over a loud speaker. No matter where the words come from, listen carefully.
