New Moon Ritual

What you need: Your tools A black candle

Setup: The setup is the same as the full moon rite,with the exception that you will need a view or picture of the moon.

Perform a meditation and cast your circle.

Raise your arms above your head,palms up,and say:

"OH GREAT DARK MOON HEAR ME ON THIS NIGHT.""BRING ME TO YOUR LOVING GUIDANCE."

Lower your arms.

Light the black candle while saying:

"OH GREAT DARK MOON,I HONOR THEE,ON THIS YOUR NIGHT."

Place the black candle into the cauldron while saying:

"AS EARTH IS TO MOON,SUN TO LIGHT,THIS IS MY BLESSED NIGHT."

Kneel down and hum or chant for a while in honor of the moon.

Release the circle.with athame down and release while saying:

"SO MOTE IT BE."

If you chose to do a spell do not relaease the circle yet and remember to point your athame up.After you complete the spell you may close the circle.
