About Native American Astrology
Animals play an integral role in Native American culture in two very significant ways; they believe that their creator speaks to them through animals and that animals are considered their brothers and sisters. These roles translate to Native American astrology. This centuries old system includes an animal, element, plant, stone, clan and color, all determined by the date in which you were born. Just as with other types of astrology, Native American astrological signs are based on your birth date and dictate the other signs with which you are most compatible, your general personality traits and birthstones.
